He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hoffarth and Frances Hoffarth; his wife Mary Jo; and his sister Teresa Lavoie. He is survived by: his former wife Mary Joann Rylance of Fargo, ND; his children, Jerry Hoffarth (Jennifer) of Grand Forks, ND, Amy Laumeyer (Marty) of St. Cloud, MN and Katie Hagen (Kris) of St. Cloud, MN; his grandchildren, Tyler, Ellie (Grant Hoffarth), Jonah (Zoe Laumeyer) and Madison (Morgan Hagen); his siblings, Dennis (Janet), Bill (Sharon), Vince (Amelia), Michael, Steve (Julie), Mary Fran Moore (Vern), Lou Wagner (Wayne Kroetsch), Alice Dacus and Deborah Demmers; and his brother-in-law Dan Rylance (Billie Jo). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
