He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Betty Lou (Sperlen) and Wilbur Eckman; his wife Barb Eckman (Platz); his former wife Julia Isaacs; and his children, Becky, Sheldon (Jamie), Taleen, Simone (Wallace), Kenny (Summer), Rose (Aaron), Joseph and Brandon. He was also cherished by 24 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
