He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Mae (Crandall) and Charles Ord Deeds; and his wife Aloma Jean Bird of Sioux Falls, SD. He is survived by: his children, Robert Deeds (Virginia), Nancy Montgomery of Oklahoma City, OK, Terry Deeds (Judith) of Houston, TX and Linda Stephens (Johnny) of Warr Acres, OK. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
