He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Kelm and Wilma Kelm (Burgoon); his parents-in-law, Joyce and Tom Vincent; and his brother-in-law Bob Thoring.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Vincent; his children, Rob, Roy, Shawn (Jenny), Carl (Katrina), Trina, Sheila and Holly; his grandchildren, Ann, Amber, Olivia, Hailee, Alana, Oliver, Emily, Joanna, Arianna, Aubrey, Blake, Jack, Danielle, Gavin and Chase; and his siblings, Judy Black (Curt), Fred Kelm (Peggy), William Kelm (Connie), Marian Vold (Ronnie), Karen Thoring, Willard Kelm, Vickie Schmerbeck (Mike), Gary Kelm (Trudy) and Jim Kelm. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
