He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest LaFriniere and Inga LaFriniere; his wife Carol Clark; his sons, Leon and Greg; his close friend Todd Pemberton; his children, Joshua LaFriniere (Song) and Janet Martinez (Surgeo); his sister Linda Warnstad; his grandsons, Sergio Martinez, Gregory LaFriniere Jr. Noel LaFriniere and Michael LaFriniere; and his great grandchildren, Jillian, Eliza and Ian.
As his Alzheimer's progressed, Doug remained at home with Carol as long as he could but has made his home at Havenwood Care Center for the past several years.
