He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Rakke and Josie Rakke; his sons, David and Mark; his siblings, Jewell Rakke (Mary Ann) and Jane Aalderks (Henry); and his brother-in-law Harlan Henke.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Beth Rakke (Denise Thornhill) and Kristin Rakke (Bill Prince) of Albertville, MN; his daughter-in-law Pam Rakke of Sauk Rapids, MN; his grandsons, Zac, Peter and Isaac Rakke; his sister Lois Henke of Granite Falls, MN; and his brother-in-law Lee Johnson (Shyla) of Bemidji. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
