She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Welch and Christine Welch (Swanson); her husband Melvin Christenson; and her siblings, Calvin Welch and Norma Lindseth.

She is survived by: her children, Danny Christenson (Jill), Ronald Christenson (Liz) and Janice Mickalson (Delbert). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchild.
