She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Erickson and Sylvia Erickson (Kirkvold); and her brothers, Orlando and Edward Erickson. She is survived by: her husband Russell "Ted" DeVries; her son Jeffrey DeVries (Carla); her grandsons, Cohl DeVries (Alyssa) and Ethan DeVries; her daughter Jody DeVries; her grandchildren, Shelbi Watts and Parker Watts; and her siblings, Elaine Erpelding, Alan Erickson (Lavon) and Fran Greenwood (Joe).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memorial for Irene DeVries (Alzheimer's Organization).
