He was predeceased by: his parents, August Rodewald (Nancy) and Madeline Rodewald; his siblings, Arlene (Rodewald), David (Rodewald), Bud (Rodewald) and Bill (Rodewald); and his daughter-in-law Sheila (Rodewald).

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; and his grandchildren, Larissa (Schulze), John (Hudson), Caitie (Hudson), Joey, Hudson, Ellie (Hudson) and Ben (Dickinson). He is also survived by his 3 kids.
