He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Lauderbaugh and Weltha Lauderbaugh; his son Kevin; and his siblings, Patsy Poznik and Roland.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Beckstrand; his children, Wayne Lauderbaugh (Debbie), Audrey Halverson (Conrad), Sue Milli (Pete), Shari Lofgren (Brad) and Jeff Lauderbaugh (Susan Venters); and his brothers, Orlan and Mike Lauderbaugh. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
