She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Smodell and Irene Smodell (Hensel); and her sisters, JoAnn Mohammadi, Deborah Muller and Barbara Bucher.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Barbour of Northome, MN; her daughter Michelle Dickey of Bemidji, MN; and her sister Stephanie Busch. She is also survived by the Twin Cities, MN; and 2 nieces & their children.
