It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marles Ruth Kangas (Bemidji, Minnesota), born in Parkston, South Dakota, who passed away on May 24, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Vogel and Gertrude Vogel (Sperlich); and her sister Janet Vogel Bietz. She is survived by: her husband Glenn J. Kangas of Bemidji, MN; her children, Kevin Kangas (Rebecca) of Bemidji, Karen Kangas DeMarais of Fargo, ND, Joel Kangas (Lisa) of Erskine and Paul Kangas (Lea) of Dayton, MN; and her siblings, Ruben Vogel (Darlene) of Mitchell, SD, Margret Godbold (Tom) of Hayden, ID, Joyce Hoffman (Francis) of Sioux Falls, SD, Phyllis Vogel of Sioux Falls, SD and Zona Seybold (Kenny) of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
