With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Millie Gjertson (Bemidji, Minnesota), born in Osakis, Minnesota, who passed away on November 24, 2018 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Arlettie M. Kortuem (Hooseline) and Albert H. Kortuem; and her spouse Wilfred F. Gjertson (Scut). She is also survived by Her father, grandfather, 4 uncles and several cousins.
Millie was very generous as she created a scholarship for at Bemidji State University, contributed to the Woodland Community Garden for new surfacing, made a significant donation to the Nisswa Lake Park and contributed to many other special projects in the Brainerd area.
