He was predeceased by: his father Monroe Murray; and his brothers, Vincent and Darrell Murray. He is survived by: his mother Ann Murray (Paisley) of Bemidji; his children, Patrick and Shannon (Susan Wynne) of Bemidji; his siblings, James Murray (Peggy) of Booneville, IN, Donna Jensen (Donald) of Burnsville and Edwina Koebnick (Allen) of Nevis; and his grandchildren, Xavier and Matilda of Bemidji.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Great River Rescue in Bemidji.
