He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Toenies and Anna Toenies (Willenbring); and his siblings, Celestine, Ed, Harold, Gene, Marie Rau and Lou Ann Kemper.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Stalberger of Bemidji; his brother Al Toenies (Marte) of Royalton; and his sisters-in-law, Jen Toenies of Melrose, MN and Rita Toenies of Sartell, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
