He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Slinkman (White) and William Slinkman; and his siblings, Fran, Harold, Roger and Kathe.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Bruce (Buni) of Bemidji, Ann Scott (Robert) of Battle Creek, MI and Barry (Patrice) of West Olive, MI; his grandchildren, John and Sarah; and his stepgrandchildren, Jesse Story (Krystal) and Tracy Kelsey (Max). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
