Robert C. Baker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. Baker of Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Baker and Victoria Baker; his wife Ruth; and his son Thomas W. Baker. He is survived by: his children, Therese Allen (Michael) of Portland, ME, John of Champlain, Kathleen Devine (Pat) of Waconia, Elizabeth Baker (Laura Johnson) of Brooklyn Park, Susan Hurlbut (William) of Tallahassee, FL and Linda Baker of Eagan; his grandchildren, Samatha Allen, Rachel Allen, Dan Devine (Jess), Natalie Devine, Dominic Devine (Gloria) and Victoria Hurlbut; and his great grandchildren, Zoe Allen, Macalester Devine, Leeland Devine, Nicky Devine, Orion Devine and Nathan Devine.
Later, he received advanced training at the University of Iowa and Oregon State University under National Science Foundation grants and received a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Biology.
