He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spangler and Pauline Spangler (Steele); his siblings, JoAnne LaLonde, Pat Carlson and Tom; his granddaughter Megan; and his son-in-law Tom Labernik.
He is survived by: his wife Anita; his children, Gina, Lisa and Shane (Renee); his siblings, Jerry and Diane Soukkala; and his niece Edith Christenson. He is also survived by 5 grandsons, one granddaughter-in-law, 3 step-grandchildren, one great granddaughter.
