It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Carl Wedekind (Bemidji, Minnesota), who passed away on September 20, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Wedekind and Doris Wedekind (Short); his sisters, Barbara Moore (Donald) and Karen Baughman (Doug); and his grandsons, Lane Matthews and Amos Boetius.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Matthews (Mattson); his brother Gilbert Wedekind; his children, Lu Perry (Paul), Angela Engelbrecht (Pieter), Dana Johnson (Howard), Mark Wedekind (Ruth), Sheila Padilla (Nick), Laura Engelstad (Scott) and Neal Matthews (Angie); and also, Laura and Neal. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Social distancing will be observed, and masks are required.
