It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Villapa Ewert of Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eduardo Aruirra Villapa and Salvación Mayo Villapa; her children, Robert E. Ewert (Holly), Timothy Ewert (Faith), Mike Ewert (Janet), Teresa Harding (Bruce) and Greg Ewert (Deanne); her siblings, Lillia Gatchalian of Brooke's Point, Perla Sy Siong of Brooke's Point, Virginia Paduga (Jenny) of Brooke's Point, Palawan, Philippines and Gilbert Villapa of Tracy, California.; her husband Robert P. Ewert; her daughter Marilyn Ewert; her siblings, Wenceslao, Salome, Eduardo Jr. and Estela; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Ewert (Mike). She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
