He is survived by: his child Stef; his wife Kathy Schmit; his daughter Steffany Schmit; his daughter-in-law Sarah Schmit; and his brothers, Stan Schmit (Rosemary) and Terry Schmit (Julie). He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews; and four cats.
