Verna Norden Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Norden formerly of Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace Olson and Victor Olson; her husband Marv; her grandson Francis; and her siblings, Lois, Vivian, Leila, Gordon and Russell.
She is survived by: her former husband Marvin Norden; her daughter Lori; and her sister-in-law LaVerne Olson. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Bemidji United Methodist Church, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Bemidji State University Alumni and Foundation – Verna Norden Women's Basketball Scholarship.
