It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Halverson (Bemidji, Minnesota), born in Walker, Minnesota, who passed away on October 20, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Halverson and Ula Forrest; and his siblings, Harold and Alice. He is survived by: his wife Emma Niermann; and his children, Julia Wallace (Lawrence) of Bemidji, MN, Lolita Steinemann, William (Edwina) of St, Howard (Naomi), Gene (Rita), Vincent (Lori) and Kristine Lambertson (Richard). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
