He is survived by : his wife Rita R. Hassing; his children, Ewald Joe Petersen (Shari), Corrine Ralph (Scott), Eric Petersen (Stephanie), Paul Petersen, Amy Brambrink (Kurt) and Rebecca Blahosky (Chad); his grandchildren, Emily Lindenfelser (Ralph), Erin Ralph, Charlie Brambrink, Michael Brambrink, Ewald Petersen, Claire Petersen and Cecelia Blahosky; his great grandchild Max Lindenfelser; and his sister Meredith Thompson. He is also survived by His wife and children were his joy, and when his grandchildren and great-grandchild.
