He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Jewel; his sister Caryn; and his parents-in-law, Hilbert and Gladys Pfeifer.
He is survived by: his wife Ella Marie (Pfeifer); his children, Jeff Gustafson (Janelle) of Big Lake, MN and Heidi Gustafson (Scott Rickford) of Medina, MN; his grandchildren, Brittany Gustafson (Ethan), Tyler Gustafson and Emilee Gustafson; his pets, Wilson and Murphy; and his siblings, Melanie Smith (Dennis) and James Gustafson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Committal Service and Burial: Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11:00am North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND Memorials in honor of Jerry are appreciated in lieu of flowers. Organizations and research important to Jerry include Parkinson's Foundation, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, NU-9 Research and Veterans Service Organizations.
