With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sharyln Cox of Bigfork, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sharyln left this world on December 10, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester J. Dostal and Merry K. Dostal (Wood); her husband Jim; her sister Myrta Beckner; her brother-in-law Richard Beckner; her son-in-law Mitch Rahier; and her grandsons, Joseph Latimer and Adam Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Lewis (Ron), Donald Cox, Mary Rahier, Jeanette Remmers (James) and Allison Butterfield (Bruce); her grandchildren, Ben Lewis (Ali), Andy Lewis (Erin), John Latimer (Jess), Bill Latimer, Abby Hermann (Tom), Sarah Haugen (Cody), Molly Platt (Luke), Michelle Haley (Dean), Mike Rahier (Aimee), Jesse Rahier (Brittany), Shara Dabrowski (Casey), Therese Busch (Steve), Grace Hensel (Isaiah) of Carissa Butterfield, A. J, Amber Giving (Mike) and Michael Butterfield; and her brother Jon Dostal (Marilyn). She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Balsam Bible Chapel (41516 Scenic Hwy, Bovey, MN 55709). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
