He was predeceased by: his parents, John Erickson and Alice Erickson (Hagen); his wife Barbara "Bobbi"; his son Greg; and his siblings, Harold, John, Carl and Josie.

He is survived by: his sons, Jim (Angie) of Bighorn, WY and Jeff (Wildwood) of Northome. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
