He is survived by: his parents, Beverly Peterson (Skow) and Mark Peterson (LuAnn); his wife Joan; his sons, Ralph and Elroy; his siblings, Steven Peterson (Angela), Sherri Sladek (Daniel) and Jeanne Peterson; his father-in-law Joe Sheedy; his siblings-in-law, Laura Sheedy and Tim Sheedy (Jen); and his stepsiblings, Dan Komnick (Laurie) and Katie Haines (Sean). He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
