He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Aaron (Kristin) and Alex Schmeling (Kaily); his grandchildren, Carson, Margaret and Eleanor; his siblings, Bill Schmeling (Patty), Marilu Narem (Leon), Genette McGuire (Arnold), Patrick Schmeling (Sandra), Carillon Bihlmeyer (John), Sherol Scarborough (Michael) and Lori Schmeling; and his brothers-in-law, Martin King (Peggy) and Leo King. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
