It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph R. Fonken of Blaine, Minnesota, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph R. Fonken to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chuck Holden and Susan Fonken; his siblings, Kathryn Kelly (Randy), Abigail Olson (Jeff), Andrea Wold (Aaron), Jesse Holden (Sarah Henning), Emily Sparks (Derek) and Bradley Davies; his son Isaac; his siblings' children, Gabriel, Liliana, Haven, Holland, Sam, Alex, Amanda, Adam and Emma; and also Caroline Larson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
