It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Kaul Mahnke of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, born in Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on August 26, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Marvin Lenway and Lenore Lenway (Becker); her parents-in-law, Walter and Mildred Mahnke; her brother John Lenway; and her siblings-in-law, Art Durand, Ted Prange and Jeanine Lenway.
She is survived by : her husband Wally Mahnke of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota; her children, Michael Mahnke (Leanne) of Owatonna, Steven Mahnke (Michelle Bode) of Denver, CO, Mary Pat Phillips (David) of Savage, Laurie Mahnke (Rod Golberg) of Owatonna and Elizabeth "Beth" Belknap (Rich) of Austin, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Justine, Erik, Sara, Abbey (Tyler), Heather (Jon) and Tyler (Trish); her great grandchildren, Kash, Olivia, Lucas, Briar, Kaiden and Nora; and her siblings, Clare Durand, Joyce Tobin (Adrian), Pat Prange, Becky Nelson (Jim), Carol Volz (Fred) and Jim Lenway (Bonnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
