José Olivo Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of José Olivo (Blooming Prairie, Minnesota), born in San Marcos, Texas, who passed away on August 11, 2018 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Carrie Olivo; his parents, Willie Olivo and Ysabel Olivo (Cervantes); his stepfather Angel Cervantes; his siblings, Rosa Gonzales, Mary Gonzales (Richard), Carmel Jahnke (George) and Polo Sr.; and also, Roger Ogilvie and Leona Ogilvie.

He is survived by : his children, Candace Roush (Joseph) of Owatonna, Kartina Staska (Ryan) of Blooming Prairie, Kristin Olivo (Tom McEldowney) of Bixby and Tyler Olivo of Blooming Prairie; his grandchildren, Zoie, Averie, Grady Roush, Bradley Staska, Levi Staska, Alexis Olivo and Landon Olivo; his siblings, Vicki Olivo (Ken Erickson) of Owatonna, Gloria Steele (Scott) of Wells, Catarina Martinez (Nieves) of Northfield, David Sr. Olivo (Fina) of Blue Earth and Willie Olivo (Crystal Smith) of Fort Collins; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Olivo of Jacksonville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
