He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Folkens and Betty Folkens; his father-in-law John Christensen; his siblings, Donna Bredeson-Penrose, Norma Bedell and Lynn Folkens; and his brother-in-law Philip Milton.

He is survived by : his wife Pam Folkens of Blooming Prairie, MN; his sons, Grant Kruckeberg (Michele) of Rosemount, MN, Chad Kruckeberg (Kimberly Bialke) of Belize and Jed Folkens of Jordan, MN; his grandchildren, Abigail Kruckeberg, Megan Folkens, Joey Folkens, Kate Folkens and Brittany Hanson; his mother-in-law Gwen Christensen of Blooming Prairie; and his siblings-in-law, Jeff Christensen (Sonny) of Algona, Iowa and Jennifer Milton of Blooming Prairie. He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces and special friends.
