She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Ruhter and Magdalena Ruhter (Prochnow); her spouse Eldred Peterson; her daughter-in-law Barbara Peterson; her brothers, Lester Ruhter, Gerhardt Ruhter (Delores), Joseph Ruhter and Milton Ruhter (Lois); and her granddaughter Joy Peterson.
She is survived by : her children, Gilman Peterson (Patricia) of Dodge Center, Delmar Peterson of Blooming Prairie, JoAnne Smith (Randall) of Hokkaido, Merlin Peterson (Denice) of Toppenish and Rodney Peterson (Teresa) of Owatonna, Minnesota; her brother Chasper Ruhter (Charlotte) of Rochester, Minnesota; and her sister-in-law Adell Ruhter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
