He was predeceased by : his parents, Maynard Olson and Edna Olson; his wife Patricia; and his brother David. He is survived by : his children, Cindy Hoffer (Mark), Kari Lamp (Rick) and Tim Olson (Darcy); his grandchildren, Eric Hoffer (Kirsten), Hannah Hoffer, Drew Olson and Claire Olson; and his great grandchild Samuel Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to American Cancer Society or Animal Humane Society are welcome.
