She was predeceased by: her parents, Phyllis and Keith. She is survived by: her husband Jim of Rochester; her grandchildren, David of Rochester, MN, Raiden-Lea of Rochester, MN, Jade of Rochester, MN, Esperanza of Rochester, MN, Olivia of Rochester, MN and Elicia of Rochester, MN; her siblings, Mike Curtiss (Pam) of Blue Earth, MN, Becky Nagel (Doug) of Blue Earth, MN and Christy (David) of Shakopee, MN; and also, Amy Pearson (Jeremy) of Rochester, Dan Trabert of Rochester, MN and Ashley Guillen Romero (Rene) of Rochester, MN. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She retired from Mayo in September of 2011 after being diagnosed with "early on-set" Alzheimer's disease.
