It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alan Gunsbury (Brainerd, Minnesota), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on September 18, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Gunsbury and Wilhelmina Gunsbury (Blass); his uncles, Edgar and Lawrence Gunsbury; his brother Conway; and his sister-in-law Dolores Chisholm.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; and his children, Lee Seipp (Terry), Laurie Leja (Wally), Gay Zyvoloski (Chip), Curt Gunsbury (Catherine) and Brent Gunsbury (Jenny).
Memorials are not necessary, but if friends so choose, donations will be accepted by the Brainerd Public Schools Foundation in Alan's name to benefit the Brainerd High School Tennis and Music programs.
