She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin O'Day and Rachael O'Day (Robinson); her husband Kenneth Grunewald; her sister Vicki Bakkila (O'Day); her nephew John; and her grandson Jerome Rushmeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Rushmeyer (Kristi), Val Magnan (Kelly), Joel Rushmeyer (Shelly), Henry Rushmeyer (Marian), Kim Jensen (Russ), Troy Rushmeyer (Katy) and Tonya Wgeishofski (Paul); and her siblings, Diane Leslie (Tris), Jim O'Day, Mike O'Day (Rose) and Kevin O'Day (Denise). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Per Darlene's wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter.
