He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Almich and Delvina Almich; and his stepson David Smith. He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Benjamin (Emily), Carrie Weinberg (Caleb) and Heather McCabe (John); his grandchildren, Kaeli, Lane Chase, Asher, Alex, Christian and Ana; and his sisters, Yvonne Curtis, Kathy Rouillard, Peggy Story and Laurie Clark (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
