He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Schwendeman and Darlene Schwendeman (Leikvoll); his sister Jodi Bisen; and his sister-in-law Shelly Schwendeman. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Cordingly of Brainerd; his children, Tina Gjerstad (Melvin) of Mankato, Jessica Heidelberger (Randy) of Brainerd, Holly Riesner (Tyler) of Brainerd, Richard Schwendeman (Alexandra) of Foley, William Schwendeman of Wiliston, ND, Zebadiah Schwendeman of Tampa, FL, Zachary Schwendeman of Cologne and Nicholas Schwendeman (Kristin Dight) of Plain View; and his siblings, Kimberly Schwendeman of Pierz, Wanda Klemish (David) of Randall, Steve Schwendeman of Little Falls, Jeff Schwendeman (Melissa) of Breezy Point and Kristi Krause (Phil) of Little Falls. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and distant relatives.
