He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha E. Jones and Dr. George L. Jones; his sister Cynthia Jones Champion; his nephew Deputy Jeffrey S. Jones; and his brother-in-law Ronald Renner.
He is survived by: his wife MaryBeth Jones; and his siblings, Marilyn S. Renner of Indianapolis, IN, Dr. John D. Jones (Linda) of Loudon, TN, Robert S. Jones (JoAnn) of Indianapolis, IN, Elizabeth Aish of Elk River, MN and James Jones of Isanti, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
