He is survived by: the mother of his children Elizabeth Stortz; his children, Keith Soderman (Jodi) and Kathryn Willemsen (Brad); his grandchildren, Trey, Trent Soderman, Mitchell, Tyler and Bodie Willemsen; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Lillian Martinsen; and his sisters, Barbara Burgwald (Robert) and Beverly Britton (Benny). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
