He is survived by: his pet Maggie; his wife Margaret; his sons, Richard (Jill) and Robert (Sue); his stepchildren, David Shaw (Janie) and Kristin Fanning (Bill); his grandchildren, Sydney, Jack, Branden, Colin, Cooper, Soren, Bjorn and Anders; and his siblings, Elsa Hough (Kari), Linda Beck (Rod), Phillip Samson (Deby), Richard Samson and Albert Samson.
