He is survived by: his children, Wendy Nies (Michael), Kristine Gobel (James) and Kurt Phillips (Rita); his grandchildren, Daniel Nies (Megan), Angela Einerson (Dan), Bryce Phillips, Blaine Phillips, Brant Phillips and Cassandra Gobel; his great grandchildren, Elsie, Will, Wesley Einerson, Lincoln and Jackson Nies; and his siblings, James Phillips (Nancy) and Jane Chapman.
