He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thesing and Lena Thesing (Ditch); his wife Betty Nelson; his children, Joseph Thesing Jr. and JoLena Beeson; and his siblings, Marina, Florence, Leander, Ambrose and Raymond.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Raymond Duquenne and Betty Nilson; his brothers, Paul and Peter Thesing; and his close friend Lois DeRosier. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to St. Mathias Catholic Church.
