It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Norr (Brainerd, Minnesota), born in Randall, Minnesota, who passed away on September 7, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Houchins and Burnice Houchins (Gish); her husband Alvie Norr; her grandson Chase Erickson; her great grandchild Calvin Hyllested; and her siblings, Arlo Houchins and Ardie Bollin.
She is survived by: her children, Joan McKinnon (Joe) of Bemidji, Tammy Erickson (Mark) of Kindred, ND, Brenda Whirley (Harold) of Brainerd and Eric Norr (Sandy) of Lake Elsinore, CA; her grandchildren, Aimee Tabaka (Chad), Kristi Ellingson (Randy), Zach Wermager (Chelsie), Josh Mattson (Sundus Al-Bayati), Nikki Larsen (Logan), Joshua Whirley (Lisa), Katie Hyllested (Ryan), Kristie McKinnon (Bryan Baumann), Travis Whirley, Lucas Norr (Elizabeth Williams), Bailey Horn (Nick Lundgren), Jacob Norr, Cassie Erickson (Shamar Fenroy-Parker), Sam Norr, Jackson Norr and Dustin Erickson; her great grandchildren, Parker, Kianna, Easton Ellingson, Madison, Jacob Tabaka, Mya, Carter Wermager, Whitney, Rylie Whirley, Morgan Johnson, Piper Horn, Nona-Mae Williams, Camilla Hyllested and Bear Robert Hyllested; her siblings, Kenny Houchins (Alice) of New Hope, Bob Houchins of Kent, WA and Melody Johannes (Jim) of Port Angeles, WA; and her brother-in-law Donald Norr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
