He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens Hunstad and Agnes Hunstad (Stanghelle); and his brother Willis Jerome Hunstad. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Boe; his children, Shawn Hunstad (Anna) of Pillager, Shannon Hunstad (Amy) of Strandquist and Stephanie Hanson of Glyndon; his grandchildren, Jordan, Cole (Cierra), Ridge Hunstad, Ally Monda (Michael), Shayla, Ryder, Brooke Hunstad, Jake, Jordal and Jasmine Hanson; his great grandchildren, Mila, Maverick Monda and Oliver Hunstad; and his sister Marlene Jorgenson (Eugene).
