He is survived by: his parents, Maurice Brandt and Ardean Brandt (Hanson) of Onamia; his wife Cheri Butorac (Cheryl); his children, Heather Johnson of Minneapolis, Krissy Nelson (Magnus) and Tom Brandt of Brainerd; his sister Kathi (Scott); his grandchildren, MJ, Elliot, Francis, Oliver and Theodore Nelson; and his parents-in-law, TJ and Elaine Butorac of Crosby. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
