He is survived by: his spouse Johnelle VonEschen (Jacky); his friend Melody Schroeder; his children, Vicki Freese (Larry) of Brooten, Kyle Strand (Tammie) of Brooten and Erica Steffensen (Rob) of Brooten; his grandchildren, Tanya Freese (Jerry) of Brooten, Sarah Freese (Chad) of Brooten, Jared Steffensen (Micheala) of Brooten and Joshua Steffensen (Abby) of Brooten; his great grandchildren, Spencer Freese of Brooten, Jade Freese (Dakota) of Belgrade, Trista Freese of Brooten and Faith Otteson of Brooten; his brothers, Ole Strand (Pat) of Bloomington and Russel Strand (Marlene) of Georgeville; and his siblings-in-law, Wes VonEschen (Ruth) of Brooten, Floris Strand of Rodgers and Ila Strand of Willmar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
