We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2020, at the age of 87, Marlin Schmid (Brooten, Minnesota), born in Elkton, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schmid and Dorothy Schmid (Perl); his brothers, James and Gene; his sister-in-law Shirley Schmid; and his nephews, Bryan and Sidney Schmid.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia of Brooten; his sons, Alan Schmid (Cheryl) of Savage and Daniel Schmid (Heather) of Brooklyn Park; his grandchildren, Jessica Penkivech (Dana), Andrew Schmid (Amanda), Emily Kirkwold (Ben), Grace Pfeifer (R. J.) and Ginny Schmid; his brother Gerald "Jerry" Schmid (Eva); and his sister-in-law Betty Schmid. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Due to governmental restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no public services at this time.
